UNH opening ceremony

The solemn opening of Université Nouveaux Horizons took place this Monday, October 17th, 2016. The event started at 4:20 PM and was attended by the Governor of Haut Katanga, the President of the Provincial Assembly of Haut Katanga, the president of the Université de Lubumbashi representing the Minister of Higher Education and many other distinguished guests. Mrs. Marie-Louise TAKIZALA MUTONDO MIMPIA, who was first to speak, welcomed the guests in the name of the founders. She was followed by Dr Alexis TAKIZALA MASOSO, president of UNH who emphasized the objectives and the vision of the new university which motto is Dare-Innovate-Persevere. The president of Université de Lubumbashi and the Governor who also spoke gave some words of encouragements to the UNH leadership. The event ended with a visit of the different facilities (classrooms, labs, etc.) followed by a cocktail.
